Bandipora: The District Administration Bandipora on Wednesday joined the nationwide celebrations of Constitution Day 2025, reaffirming collective commitment to the principles and values enshrined in the Constitution of India.
The main district-level event was held at the Mini Secretariat Bandipora, where the Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib and Senior Superintendent of Police Ajaz Ahmad Zargar joined the UT-level Preamble Reading Ceremony, during which the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir administered the Preamble reading across the Union Territory through a live broadcast.
Officers and officials from various departments participated with patriotic zeal and renewed dedication to the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted the significance of Constitution Day in reminding citizens and government officials alike of their duties toward upholding constitutional principles and strengthening democratic institutions.
Similar Preamble Reading Ceremonies were organised across all government offices of the district, including at the Sumbal and Gurez Sub-divisions, where officers, employees, and local participants joined the nationwide observance with equal enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
