Leh, July 4, 2024: The Animal Husbandry Department Leh successfully concluded a three-day Veterinary Healthcare/Awareness Program in Nubra on July 3, bringing crucial healthcare services and information to the livestock rearers.

The program covered the villages of Tirisha, Taksha and Chalungkha in which the local communities showed enthusiastic participation.
During the program, the participants were briefed about the good dairy farming practices for animal health, clean milk production, common dairy animal diseases, their control measures and treatment.
The participants were also informed about the purpose of this camp and informed that the health of animals is important for good economic returns.
Further, livestock rearers were provided with free of cost first aid kits and supplements and they also had the opportunity to address their queries and concerns.
