Sumbal, April 11: In an massive fire incident at Zalpora village early hours of this morning as a massive fire blaze engulfed a two storey residential house suffered extensive damageit it.
Eyewitnesses said that the two-storey house belonging to Fameeda Begum, the wife of the late Ghulam Mohideen Mala resident of Maqdam Mahala Zalpora in Sumbal area of Bandipora district. Despite swift responses from fire brigades, local volunteers, and law enforcement, the inferno inflicted significant damage before being contained.
Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported, sparing the residents from harm. Preliminary investigations suggest that an electrical short circuit triggered the blaze.
