Srinagar, March, 04: After being closed for two days due to adverse weather conditions, the Jammu Srinagar National Highway has been reopened for one-way traffic. Light motor vehicles (LMVs) are allowed to cross Nagrota until 12 PM, with no vehicles permitted beyond this time.
This reopening comes as a relief to travelers who were stranded on either side of the highway, facing inconvenience and delays. However, authorities caution travelers to plan their journeys accordingly, taking into account the limited window for crossing Nagrota.
The closure of the highway had led to disruptions in transportation and caused inconvenience to commuters and businesses alike. With the resumption of traffic flow, normalcy is expected to return gradually.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely and urge travelers to adhere to traffic guidelines and exercise caution while traveling on the highway.
