Sopore: Sopore Police have solved two burglary cases by arresting three accused persons involved in the commission of crime and recovered stolen property worth lacs from their possession.
On 27 July Police Station Sopore received a written complaint from one person namely Gulshana Begum W/O Aashiq Hussain R/O Kralteng Sopore stating therein that she went her sons home residing nearby her house, upon returning home, she discovered theft of jewelry worth lacs in her house.
Upon this, a case FIR No. 176/2024 under section 331(3) and 305 of IPC Act was registered at Police Station Sopore and investigation was initiated.
On the directions of SP Sopore Smt. Divya D-IPS, an investigation team comprising of SHO PS Sopore Insp. Ayaz Gellani & other officials of PS Sopore under the supervision of SDPO Sopore Shri. Sarfaraz Bashir-JKPS was constituted.
