Sopore, 31 Dec. 2024: The Cyber Police of Sopore have achieved significant success in tackling online financial fraud in 2024, recovering ₹22,23,343 and saving ₹37,14,988 from fraudsters.
Throughout the year, the Cyber Cell received 113 complaints regarding fraudulent transactions from bank accounts. The dedicated efforts of the Cyber Police led to the recovery of a substantial sum and the prevention of further losses.
In addition to addressing financial scams, the Cyber Police also resolved several social media crime cases during 2024, continuing their vigilance in the digital space.
