Gurez : In a remarkable initiative to provide healthcare services in remote and challenging borders areas the SBI Foundation NGO, in collaboration with the Indian Army on today organized a medical camp at Block Bagtore near the Line of Control (LOC) in Gurez valley of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
The camp saw an overwhelming participation from local residents who expressed their gratitude for the much-needed medical assistance.The medical camp provided a range of healthcare services, including general check-ups, distribution of medicines, and specialist consultations. Residents from various parts of the Gurez valley flocked to the camp, taking advantage of the opportunity to access quality healthcare services, which are often scarce in these remote border areas.
Local residents expressed their heartfelt thanks to both the SBI Foundation NGO and the Army for their efforts in organizing the medical camp. They highlighted the importance of such initiatives in improving the healthcare infrastructure and accessibility in border regions like Gurez.
