Jammu: Pulwama MLA Waheed Para has raised serious concerns over the government’s collection of ₹48,88,46,250 as application fees through JKPSC and SSB during the last two years. Replying to Assembly Question No. 586, the Minister In-Charge GAD revealed the figures, despite the government’s earlier promise to make all application forms free.
Waheed Para said that charging such hefty fees from jobless youth contradicts official policy and amounts to blatant exploitation. He added that unemployed aspirants are already facing severe economic distress, and imposing financial burdens on them is unjustified. The PDP MLA urged the government to honor its commitment and provide relief to struggling job seekers.
