JKECC’s Women’s Wing AAYAS Association Budgam Organises Grand Sabeel for Thousands of Hussaini Azadars

Grand Sabeel Held in Budgam to Promote the Universal Message of Humanity, Sacrifice and Service of Imam Hussain (A.S.) During Muharram

Budgam, June 24: The Women’s Wing of Jammu and Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee (JKECC), AAYAS Association Budgam, organised a grand Sabeel in Budgam during the sacred days of Muharram, serving thousands of Hussaini Azadars with fruits, juice, lassi, and milk. The Sabeel was organised to pay tribute to the supreme sacrifices of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and the martyrs of Karbala, while promoting their universal message of humanity, sacrifice, compassion, and selfless service.

The programme was graced by the President of JKECC and Chairman of JKTA, Mr. Shah Fayaz, as the Chief Guest. He appreciated the noble initiative and commended the women members of AAYAS Association Budgam for their dedication, commitment, and selfless service to the Azadars.

Among the distinguished participants were Mr. Dar Aijaz Ahmad, Chief Spokesperson of JKECC/JKTA; Mr. Sareer Ahmad, Patron JKTA Budgam and Apex Member; and Mr. Mudasir Rashid, General Secretary JKECC/JKTA Budgam. Mr. Mudasir Rashid represented District President JKECC Budgam, Mr. Mir Altaf Ahmad, who could not attend the event due to official engagements.

The programme was organised under the leadership of Ms. Fehmeeda, District President of AAYAS Association Budgam, with active participation from the association’s zonal presidents and members. Prominent participants included Ms. Rifat Ara (Budgam), Ms. Saima Jan (Soibug), Ms. Razia Jan (Beerwah), Ms. Sagufta (Chadoora), Ms. Nighat (Magam), Ms. Sumaiya (Narbal), Ms. Mehbooba (B.K. Pora), Ms. Rohi Jan (Draigam), and Ms. Rukhsana and Ms. Munazah (Khag).

Thousands of Hussaini Azadars were served throughout the day. Participants appreciated the organisers for their hospitality, sincerity, and spirit of service, noting that such initiatives play a vital role in spreading the values of sacrifice, justice, humanity, and compassion exemplified by Imam Hussain (A.S.).

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Shah Fayaz stated that the organisation of the Sabeel reflects the true teachings of Islam and the eternal message of sacrifice, service, and humanity associated with Imam Hussain (A.S.). He praised the tireless efforts of the women members of AAYAS Association Budgam and observed that such welfare initiatives promote social harmony, brotherhood, mutual respect, and unity. He expressed hope that these selfless services rendered during Muharram would continue to inspire future generations.

At the conclusion of the event, the leadership of JKECC and JKTA congratulated the entire AAYAS Association Budgam team for the successful and well-organised conduct of the Sabeel. They remarked that the initiative serves as an exemplary model for promoting public service, communal harmony, brotherhood, and unity in society.
