Kupwara,06 June: On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Indian Army organized a mega plantation drive in Drugmulla area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday.
The event, held amidst the scenic beauty of J&K’s Kupwara district, combined environmental conservation efforts with community engagement.
Over 450 trees were planted during the drive, emphasizing the significance of nurturing a greener future.
Major General Girish Kalia addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of collective action in tackling environmental challenges.
The initiative aimed to raise awareness about environmental protection and inspire the community towards sustainable practices.
