Medical Standards
- Height:
- Male Candidates: Minimum height of 162 cms.
- Female Candidates: Minimum height of 152 cms.
- For candidates from North East or hilly regions of Uttarakhand, minimum height is 147 cms.
- For candidates from Lakshadweep, minimum height is 150 cms.
- Chest:
- Male Candidates: Minimum chest circumference of 77 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
- Female Candidates: Well-proportioned chest with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF.
- Hearing: Candidates must have normal hearing, able to hear a forced whisper from 6 meters by each ear separately.
- Dental: Candidates should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and at least 14 dental points.
