Ajas/Bandipora: In a remarkable display of promptness and professionalism, Ajay Company of 13 Rashtriya Rifles (KUMAON) provided critical assistance to a stranded vehicle in Bandipora today.
At around 1030 hours, a White Hyundai Creta (JK15A 3624) belonging to Mr. Abdul Rashid Khan, a resident of Bandipora, met with an incident. Army personnel swung into action, evacuating the injured from the vehicle and rushing them to Srinagar for medical treatment. The vehicle was also evacuated using a recovery vehicle.
The local community has expressed heartfelt gratitude for the timely support, highlighting the Army’s commitment to the motto: “A soldier brings more than aid; he brings a promise that no one is left alone.”
The incident reinforces the strong bond between the Army and the people of Ajas, echoing the sentiments of “Together for Ajas. Together for Peace.”
