Sumbal: The Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) unit in Sonawari celebrated its 4th foundation day at Dak Banglow Sumbal on Friday. The event witnessed the participation of key party figures, including Senior Leader Imtiyaz Parray, District President Apni Party Shafqat Kazmi, former MC Chairman Irshad Ahmad Wani, DDC Members Naza Begum and Farjeel Ahmad, Former BDC Chairmen Gh Nabi, Former BDC Chairman Nazir Ahmad, Nisar Ahmad, Office Incharge Fayaz Ahmad, alongside other senior functionaries and workers.
Addressing the gathering at Sumbal, Vice President Apni Party Usman Majid reflected on the circumstances that led to the party’s formation in March 2020. He emphasized the current political challenges and urged the Union Government to expedite elections in Jammu and Kashmir for the timely establishment of a chosen government. Usman highlighted the strengthened base in Bandipora district due to the relentless efforts of leaders and foot soldiers. He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to unbiased development across all regions, noting that it emerged when others hesitated to represent the populace.
Expressing gratitude for the swift response to the invitation, Usman Majid assured the people of his dedication to serving them without bias. When asked about a candidate for the north Kashmir seat, Usman Majid said it is the parliament board of the party to decide about the candidate. He clarified that the Apni Party will contest all five seats of J&K UT.
