Srinagar 09 July: Muzamil Farooq, son of Farooq Ahmad Bhat, has earned significant recognition by being selected as a Doctoral Research Fellow in Innovation and Regional Studies at the Centre for Innovation Research, University of Stavanger, Norway. His research will be part of the esteemed SUNSET Doctoral Network and funded by Horizon Europe of the European Union.
Additionally, Muzamil is currently pursuing his master’s degree at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU), an innovation policy think tank at the University of Sussex, United Kingdom. For this pursuit, he was awarded the prestigious Commonwealth Masters Scholarship in 2023 by the FCDO, Government of the United Kingdom.
Muzamil’s success is particularly noteworthy given his humble background. His achievements are expected to be a breakthrough for the entire community, inspiring other students to aim high and pursue their dreams.
