Notably, after the abrogation of Article 370, the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has seen a massive change in sports activities, especially in the participation of girls.

The central government’s focus on sports activities, especially for girls, has been a major driving factor for women in Kashmir to excel in sports.
