Bandipora: Sumbal Police, during routine patrolling, intercepted a suspicious individual identified as Khursheed Ahmad Ganaie S/o Fayaz Ahmad Ganaie R/o Anderkoot, Sumbal. Upon search, approximately 142 grams of charas-like substance was recovered from his possession.
In this connection, FIR No. 92/2026 under Sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Sumbal, and further investigation is underway.
