Bandipora: On the eve of Army Day, the Indian Army’s Wular Battalion organized a vibrant community outreach programme titled “DOSTI”, reaffirming its commitment to fostering strong and positive relations with the local population, especially the youth.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 120 students of Putushai College, who were taken to Chandaji Park for a day-long picnic and interaction with Army personnel. The initiative aimed to promote trust, understanding, and goodwill between the Indian Army and the local community.
The programme featured a range of cultural performances, fun-filled games, and interactive activities, creating an atmosphere of joy, mutual respect, and camaraderie. Students actively took part alongside local residents, volunteers, and social activists, making the event inclusive and truly community-driven.
