During the Awami Darbar, the MLA conducted a detailed review of winter preparedness and snow clearance arrangements in the area. Addressing the gathering, Adv. Saif Din Bhat informed that a Winter Control Room has been established to ensure better coordination among different departments and to enable a swift response during emergency situations. He said that central snow clearance machinery has already been stationed at Khag and Khanasahib, while additional machinery has been deployed in Khag this year to further strengthen the snow removal mechanism.

The MLA further announced that dedicated snow clearance centres have been set up at both Khanasahib and Khag to ensure faster and more effective restoration of road connectivity during snowfall. He assured that all winter-related issues would be addressed on a priority basis to ensure public safety and smooth movement during the harsh winter months.

Officers from various government departments were present during the Awami Darbar to facilitate on-the-spot redressal of public grievances. Several issues were resolved immediately, while others were taken up with the concerned departments with directions for prompt and time-bound action.

Addressing the public, MLA Khanasahib assured that all genuine grievances brought to his notice would be resolved in a transparent manner within a stipulated timeframe. He reiterated his commitment to people-centric development, transparent governance, and responsive administration.

The MLA emphasized that Awami Durbars serve as an effective platform to bridge the gap between the administration and the public by enabling direct interaction and speedy resolution of issues. The public expressed gratitude to Adv. Saif Din Bhat for personally listening to their concerns and taking proactive steps, particularly with regard to winter preparedness.
