Orientation Programme on J&K Education Management Information System (JKeMIS) Held at Zone Hardapanzoo, Budgam

Budgam: A one-day orientation programme on the Jammu & Kashmir Education Management Information System (JKeMIS) was successfully conducted at Zone Hardapanzoo, Budgam, under the supervision of the Worthy Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Hardapanzoo, Ghulam Rasool Nasir.

The programme was coordinated by ZNO VSK and witnessed the participation of around 60 Heads of Institutions from across the zone. The orientation aimed to enhance institutional understanding and effective implementation of the JKeMIS digital platform for streamlined school administration.

A key highlight of the programme was a detailed technical session conducted by Master Trainer Mr. Shaheen Kausar Ahmad, along with DNO VSK Mr. Mohammad Yousuf.

The trainers provided a comprehensive, step-by-step demonstration of the JKeMIS portal, guiding participants through the login process and overall interface navigation.

Special emphasis was laid on the effective use of the three core modules of the system—School Management, Teacher Information Management System (TIMS), and Student Management. Participants were sensitized about accurate data entry, regular updates, and the role of real-time information in improving governance and planning in the education sector.

Speaking on the occasion, ZEO Hardapanzoo Ghulam Rasool Nasir emphasized the critical importance of data accuracy and timely updation on the JKeMIS portal. .

He highlighted that JKeMIS is a vital tool for ensuring transparency, accountability, and efficiency in school administration and urged all Heads of Institutions to take full ownership of the system.

The programme concluded with an interactive session, during which participants raised queries that were addressed by the resource persons, ensuring clarity and confidence in operating the digital platform.
