Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah has strongly condemned the series of barbaric blasts that struck Delhi, calling them a cowardly and inhuman act designed to spread fear among innocent people.
In a statement issued today, Dr. Farooq said, “Words fall short in condemning such a heinous act of terror. These blasts are not only an assault on the lives of innocent citizens but also on the very spirit of humanity and peace. My heart goes out to all those who have lost their loved ones and to those battling injuries in hospitals. In this hour of immense pain, the entire nation stands united in grief and solidarity.”
Dr. Farooq expressed deep sympathies with the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the tragic incident. He urged the authorities to ensure that the culprits behind this dastardly act are brought to justice without delay.
He further added that violence and terror have no place in a civilized society and that such acts can never weaken the resolve of the people to uphold peace, harmony, and brotherhood.
