A grand poetic event — Hussaini (A.S.) Mushaira — was organized by MASTER GH MOHAMMED MIR MEMORIAL FOUNDATION – KASHMIR, HAIGAM at Imambargah Zainabia (P.B.U.H.), Haigam Sopore on 20th July 2025.
The renowned Kashmiri poet Fayaz Tilgami presided over the Mushaira. Esteemed literary figures including Shahbaz Hakbari, Maqbool Ferozi, Shabnam Vijpari, Syed Akhtar Mansoor, Syed Abass Jawhar, Mohammad Ibrahim Shah, and Mushtaq Sopori graced the presidium with their presence.
The sacred gathering commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, an honour bestowed upon Syed Mujtuba. Following this, Shahnawaz Mir presented a heartfelt Naat.
On this special occasion, Majid Ganaie of Promote Kashmir and Liaqat Ali Kambay of Rehan Studio were felicitated with awards in recognition of their contributions.
Approximately thirty poets presented their poetic tributes in honour of the martyrs of Karbala, especially Hazrat Imam Hussain (P.B.U.H.). Among the participants were the Founder and President of the Foundation, Mir Hilal, along with Ghulam Hussain Haqnawaz, Ghulam Nabi Dilnawaz, Zahoor Haigami, Nisar Azam, Saleem Yousuf, Syed Asadullah Safvi, Showkat Shahbaz, Fida Hussain Mir, Rafeeq Hussain Mir, Master Syed Mohammad Yousuf and other members of the presidium.
Aga Syed Abass Razvi delivered a thought-provoking and spiritually enriching speech during the event.
In conclusion, the Founder and President, Mir Hilal, delivered a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all guests, poets, and attendees. The event was beautifully conducted by Ibrahim Muntazir and Zubair Ahmad Kambay.
